I went to a Braves game last night and I had fun.
Ok?
As much as I whine about hating baseball... I guess I don't.
Ryan and I were planning separate excursions to the ball park with our respective boys/girls on the same night. He then stumbled into free tickets six rows behind the catcher. I sat in the nosebleed section on $6 tickets and watched him eat nachos from my perch. It was a warm, beautiful night, the pizza wasn't bad, the peanuts were even better, and Chipper Jones hit his 400th homer.
I'm a long way from wanting to watch a game on television, though. The ballpark is a whole different, er, ballgame.

You've taken the first step. Other than playoffs/World Series, I don't think most people watch baseball on TV they way they might watch football. It's something that's on and you just kinda absorb while you do your evening thing.
Yay! Tori likes baseball. :) There really is nothing like going to a game. Baseball on TV is a perfect background for the evening thing or for a nap!
Woody would be proud! Even Kirsten watches (on TV) baseball... I still don't. Games at the park are MUCH better. Glad you had fun.
