All Positions Go

As of my midwife appointment Monday and my chiropractor appointment Tuesday, the baby has moved into head-down position.

This is wonderful news. It has also affected me physically in two ways:

1. Her heavy head pointing down is allowing gravity to pull her butt and back away from my internal organs a bit. I think my belly has grown a few inches in only a few days. The maternity yoga pants that were baggy in the "waist" last week are fitting pretty nicely now. People are still telling me that I'm "small" though. It's pretty funny to be 5'10" and of "athletic build" and continually hear that I am "small." This has never happened to me before in my life. Ever. I kind of like it, actually.

2. Anybody else think that having a skull the size of a softball jammed into your already-scrunched-up digestive organs could exacerbate heartburn and reflux? I haven't taken Tums more than a couple of times in the last few days, whereas before I was popping them several times daily. This is also great news!
