Josie is two months old today. We're struggling with getting her to take a bottle in preparation for my return to work, but other than that, it's blissful. She has been smiling and cooing and gurgling up a storm. She is sleeping for a five hour stretch almost every night. I almost miss snuggling her multiple times during the night but am grateful for the extra sleep. I NEVER thought that five hours would be a lot of sleep for me. I used to sleep nine or ten hours regularly.
Last night Josie and I were cooing at each other at the dinner table -- soooo much fun to have her answer my "oooohs" and "aaaahs." We might need a staff of surgeons on hand for when she says "mama" the first time, because my heart will probably explode out of my chest and onto the floor.

She is so adorable - so glad I got to visit you guys! If you have anything like my experience, it will "dada" and "uh-oh" before "mama". Those darn Ms are tough. But, when she does say it there is nothing better!
